C'mon... Really?

So NCSoft is making CoH/V for macs. Great news, right? WRONG!

This new version will not work on my computer because of a program called Cider. It is a wraparound software that basically pretends to make something a mac game. However, because it is no authentic, it doesn't work on macs with older graphics cards. It'll work on a windows with the same exact specs, but not on the mac. First Spore, now CoH... My hopes have risen and fallen twice. Why can't someone actually make the game for mac instead of using this stupid Cider program!?

Macs are... difficult. They weren't designed with gaming in mind, even if the parts and pieces can be quite good for that. :/

You've got one of the intel machines right? Game developers are not really investing a lot in retrofitting games on mac, since mac users haven't needed much gaming out of their macs to date. Have you tried the bootcamp stuff yet?
